About Our Programs

• Bachelor of Science, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (18 months)
  Our Bachelor of Science Degree is for academically experienced students. Combine your Bachelor’s Degree in any field or Associate’s Degree in a patient care Healthcare field with our program and become a desirable candidate for positions in the field of Ultrasound Technology. Our program focuses on the two most in-demand application areas for Sonography; you can choose between a General Concentration which includes both Abdominal and Obstetric and Gynecological applications or a Cardiac Concentration which includes the Heart. Both concentrations provide exposure to Vascular Ultrasound, the third most common use of Ultrasound Technology.


• Associate of Science, Medical Assisting (20-24 months)
  Experience our CareerFirst Curriculum with our Associate Degree of Science in Medical Assisting. Complete your Medical Assisting courses in the program, begin your career in the field, and then complete your Associate Degree courses online. A laptop is included in your total program cost to assist you with your online studies.* Our program focuses on helping students build both the administrative and clinical skills needed to compete for a position as an entry-level Medical Assistant.


• Associate of Science, Health Information Technology (20 months)
  Health Information Technicians assemble patients' health information including medical history, symptoms, examination results, diagnostic tests, treatment methods, and all other healthcare provider services. Our program is delivered using a blended online format that includes a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activities and simulated laboratory activities. Students complete coursework which includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, health data requirements and standards, clinical classification and coding systems, data analysis, healthcare reimbursement methods, data and quality management, along with foundational courses such as algebra, psychology and sociology. Upon completion, graduates will have the skills needed to pursue an entry-level career as a health information technician in a variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, physicians offices, healthcare agencies and others.


• Medical Coder/ Biller Diploma Program (14 months)
  Medical Coders/Billers are Health Information Technicians who specialize in codifying patients' medical information for reimbursement purposes by assigning a code to each diagnosis and procedure using a classification systems software. Coders may use several coding systems, such as those required for ambulatory settings, physician offices, or long-term care. Our program is delivered using a blended online format that includes a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activities and simulated laboratory activities. Students complete coursework which includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, healthcare computer applications, medical coding and electronic medical billing. Upon completion, graduates will have the skills needed to pursue an entry-level career as a Medical Coder/Biller in a variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, physicians offices, healthcare agencies and others.
